Test if the application is bug-free and meets the client and end-user requirements.
Challenges & Solution
1. Working with remote team
Complexity of the application was high and we had to work with a remote team. It was very difficult to communicate and understand how the application is supposed to operate.
Our solution: To overcome this problem, we had to attend daily scrum which were scheduled after the shift hours.
2. Domain knowledge
This application is built using react technology and it was very difficult to understand as we had not worked on react before.
Our solution: We had to understand the working of react technology and how it renders the data.
3. Integration
As the application became stable, new features were added. We had to maintain the quality of the application and run several regression tests and at the same time understand the functioning of new modules.
Our solution: We had to arrange meetings with the remote team to understand the requirements. We also created test cases and maintained them as and when new changes took place. This helped us to onboard new members on the project easily.
